Our robot is made from TETRIX parts (made from aircraft grade aluminum). We have also 3-D printed parts on our robot, We use Mecanum wheels because they give us the ability to drive to the side, which is helpful when lining up on the crypto box. Our drivetrain is unique in the sense that we use custom brackets for mounting the motors that allow us to keep the robot close to the ground allowing for glyphs to easily move above the mounting points for the wheels.
